What a beautiful sky on such an ominous day in US history as John Lennon was shot on this date in 1980. It was ominous and sad to me…I still remember the 10 minutes of silence during the public memorial in Central Park…radio stations couldn’t be silent so they played his music as I was a passenger in our family car. It was nice that my mom knew it meant a lot to me and stayed silent as well. Funny to think there was actually snow this winter in Chicago too. Amazing, amazing colors as the sun sets…nice work. May PEACE come to pass on the planet in my lifetime.
